Bidding and blocking

If a buyer is bidding on my item can I remove the bid or will blocking the buyer remove the bid

You have to block a member before they bid for them not to be able to bid.

If you cancel the bid it does not block the buyer but you face a selling fee based on the highest bid placed for removing it.

Here's how to block a buyer.  The cancel bid link is there too,  if you are happy to pay that seller fee.

what fee? you aren't charged to cancel a bid, as long as the listing remains live after you cancel a bid you are not charged a fee
