Best Offer Price

Hello

I submitted a ‘Best Offer’ (£4.99 below asking price and to include postage) for an item which the seller accepted, this indicated that my ‘Best Offer’ was to include postage.

On receiving notification that the seller accepted my offer, I noticed the ‘pay now’ still stated plus postage and had not been amended to accommodate my offer - which he accepted, his reply was that he could not accept my offer to include postage but would accept plus postage or to cancel the order. My reply was to cancel the order.

A notification was received later indicating that the ‘Buyer cancelled order’, this is true but he did not reflect that he chose not to accept my best offer after accepting in the first instance.

Is the above legitimate practice by the seller, if not, should I report?

Thanks

You cant make the offer to include postage unless it was free postage

When you make a best offer that is for the item and the postage on the item still applies.

You made the off the seller accepted it and then you agreed to cancel

There is nothing to report
