Being hounded to make a payment

Won an item which was cash on collection.
Why is ebay hounding me to pay on line?
Don't they read their own ads?

Ebay don't know you have paid until the seller tells them.

Message the seller and ask them to mark as paid on their account and it will clear the message from your account.

they aren't ebays 'ads' they are the sellers ads and no,ebay don't read them!

ebay is automated, and the pay now emails are sent out at set times

if you have arranged to pay on collection, just ignore them

The invoices are automatic.

Have you paid?

If you have been and paid cash then ask the seller to mark as Paid and Dispatched

They can do that by going to More actions to the right of the item in their Sold section and they are on the drop down list

IF they dont then you can go to Purchase History then Hide but be careful not to pay when paying for other items

The listings are not ebay ads and it would be impossible for them to read every one.
