Be aware of additional fees when changing to new payment scheme

I have just spent 30 mins on  chat to seek help for additional fees I have been charged.  I sold two items last week just around the time that I reluctently changed over to the new payment scheme.  I checked my paypal account and the money had gone into my account and some fees had been deducted but lower than the usual fee.  I then checked my transactions on the new payment scheme and fees for the two items, both for the sale and the postage had been taken out and obviously no money was shown as going in as it had already been paid into my Paypal account.  After giving all the information to the customer service person I was then passed to someone else.  They checked and said the charges were correct and it was due to the time of the changeover.  I stated I didn't think it should be down to us to received additional charges as I didn't even want to change to the new scheme.  Although the additional charges were small £1.20 and 0.42p I felt I should have been refunded as I had already paid the correct fees. My request was refused.  I am just posting this for sellers  to be aware that this may happen so check both your new transactions and the old Paypal scheme.

I don't think you have looked at this properly.

I had the same and had been meaning to look into what had happened.

Paypal had taken their 30p + 2.9%, Ebay then took 10% on the Sale Price and 10% on the Postage.

RESULT no overcharge exactly as before, ebay did not take the 2.8% or the fixed 30p.
