Bank account

I'm trying to enter my bank account details as requested by ebay.  HUGELY against my wishes. I feel secure using paypal and very vulnerable giving my personal bank details. The page is now saying "please give us a different account for payouts". What does this even mean? Anyone else in a similar position??

Paypal is to be no more for receiving payouts from sales.

eBay require details of a current or business account from you,  as that nominated bank account,  will be the one receiving payouts from future sales.

If you do not wish to use your own personal current account,  then just open another new current account,  give those details to eBay,  and use that solely for receiving the payouts.
