BEWARE POSSIBLE SCAM!

I received a text message to my mobile device from a eBay seller who I have had no dealing with as the eBay ID is of someone in Austalia, so this some form of scam, and I would advise you not to visit this website, the message I got is as follows...

eBay: You have received an mesage...

eBay: You have received an message from member. To view your message go to: (http://ph.dog/8kuw)

In google chrome the link is blocked, but it takes you to a eBay siign in page, obviously to harvest your login details so they can steal you account, so whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO THE PAGE AND SIGN IN WITH YOUR REAL EBAY DETAILS.

I have posted this here in the hope it stops someone signing in and losing their account, as eBay won't give a damn, they make it hard enough to report anything, so pointless even reporting it to them in my opinion.

As there is NO option for me to reply here to redwick1, (why is that?) how do you forward a text message to eBay, which IS what I posted about, I guess this is why they allow community members to answer questions here, so eBay don't have to deal with it, like I previously said, they don't give a damn as long as they get there money.

 So I get emails asking if this person answered my question, well no they didn't, so I won't be clicking that button to say it has been answered.

This forum is pretty messed up, or has this section already been locked, it would be nice to bloody know, because when I click below to post again, nothing appears, so I cannot reply at all, hence why I am replying here in my own post, but then I guess we can't expect too much from eBay can we.

Thank you to those who have given me KUDOS for this post, I hope it has saved you from losing you're login details to some lame idiot who thinks he is some great hacker using keylogger utilities to grab people's login details from a fake web page, it amazes me daily the idiots scamming people out of their hard earned money, POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!, if anyone is trying to scam you, SAY SOMETHING ABOUT IT, POST ANYWHERE, JUST GET THE MESSAGE OUT THERE FOR OTHERS TO SEE, you never know, you may be helping someone from being scammed 🙂
