Awaiting payment and cannot cancel order

Hi all. I had an item on a 'Good till bought' auction that was purchased recently. However, the buyer bought it buy mistake. Not an issue - but when I tried to cancel the order it's saying I can't and while the winner say's they've paid via Paypal, nothing has appeared in my Ebay account and while the drop down menu under the item in My Orders says 'view Paypal transaction', it's a dead link and the item is still headlined 'awaiting payment.

I'm concerned as the buyer seems genuine but several days later Ebay is still refusing my requests to cancel it and I have no funds to refund either. Never had this happen before!

Ask the buyer to check the payment in their Paypal account.   If it's showing as unclaimed there's probably a problem with the payment email address you had on the listing, and they should be able to cancel it.   Not sure why you can't cancel on ebay though.
