Authorised seller

When I want to list my product, I get the message " Because this item is susceptible to price gouging, it may be sold only by authorised seller."

In fact, I am the authorised seller of the manufacturer in the UK&Ireland.

I would expect firstly to be asked whether I am an authorised seller or not.

Secondly, I find it strange that this decision is made according to the price but not the product.

So, how should I proceed? Provide a document somewhere or is there a specific place in our account where we can fill a form?

Any guidance is appreciated.

Thank you

Hi

No you are misunderstanding.....when Ebay say they can only be sold by an authorised seller.....it means a seller that Ebay have given approval to to sell such items.

Things like hand sanitizer and face masks can only be sold by Ebay approved sellers.    These sellers are usually long standing business sellers that were selling such items for quite a while before the pandemic struck.

What is the product you want to sell?
