I wanted to buy a sword then found out it was collrct only l have cancer and can't travel ,I cancelled with seller but they won't answer ,I believe I have 14 days to cancel ,l can't travel and can't afford postage.i will phone ebay today but either way I won't buy it.

They probably cannot post it that is why it is a collection only item.

If you sent a cancellation request,  the seller has to accept it within 3 days.  Did you also explain your circumstances why you cannot collect ?

If they do not answer,   you may receive an unpaid item case,  as this is the only sure way a seller can retrieve their seller fees,  that were paid the second you purchased the item.

It gives you 4 days to pay,  if you do not ,  you get a strike on your account.

One will not do your account  much harm,  but gain another,  and you will not be able to buy from the majority of sellers on eBay,  for a full 12 months.

Swords are not allowed to be sold on eBay Uk so if they do open an unpaid case contact eBay and say it was a prohibited item
