Argos Click and Collect limit to size?

Hi

I was wondering if there was a size limit as per above.  A large ish parcel was refused by argos today and has ended up being sent to an old address  (dont know where it came from as my current address has been my primary on ebay since 2015 on ebay).

It took some digging to find out it had been refused but i've got no reason why.  I can only assume because its on the large size.

Ive checked ebay help and it doesnt say anything that ive found about size, but states anything eliginle for click and collect will be updated automatically.

Has anyone had any experience with this?

Item was a rat cage.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thank you for your response -  So seller should have not allowed the click and collect option.  I dont sell on here so wasnt aware of the seller guidance page.  I will contact the seller to advise of the  circs and that they need to take that option off item.

From the help pages:-

In order for your listing to be eligible for Click & Collect:

  • Your item must be less than 20kg. No one side of the parcel can exceed 120cm and the second-longest side can’t exceed 76cm, including packaging. If you sell items over these limits, make sure you’ve stated this in your listing or opted out these listings. Any items that are too large will be rejected at Argos or Sainsbury's and may be disposed of.
  • Your listing can't be an auction or have a Best Offer option.

Some categories aren’t eligible for Click & Collect: items in that category are likely to be too large, potentially dangerous or aren’t compliant with Argos’ business policies.
