Are bidders with 0 feedback genuine

Hey all.

my mate has listed this item for me. see link below

https://www.ebay.co.uk/bfl/viewbids/304044106051?item=304044106051&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2565

the concern being the top 2 bidders having no feedback.

and also the jump in the price from 140 to 300 in a day.

should i say to cancel the item

has anyone been scammed by these

We all started at zero feedback,

but sending an expensive phone by normal post is asking to be scammed.

MUST be RM special delivery for all items over £50.00.

Only post tracked to address supplied by ebay & check on seller hub for payment details & address before posting.

NEVER click any email links or request to post elsewhere.

adding to the advice already given -

Looking at the bid history it looks like bid shielding [usually needs 3 bidders].

you have got rid of 2 bidders and the current top bidder has 7 bid retractions on their account.

It certainly looks as though somone, possibly using two IDs, is trying to manipulate the bidding on your auction. Both of the two high bids have been retracted, and were both placed and cancelled within minutes of each other.

We can't see the bidders IDs, only you can as the seller. Whether they have previous form for manipulating auctions we can't tell. It's quite possible that they will team up to bid and cancel bids again close to when the auction ends, to try to frighten other bidders off and get your phone cheaply.

In your position, I would block future bids from both of them, see: https://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
