Hi, Can anybody tell me if its allowed on eBay for sellers to purchase items on Amazon & have them sent out as eBay stock, I have tried to find out myself but without success so maybe someone with more knowledge may no. Thanks in advance for any replies.
It is called drop shipping
They can do that but should buy the item before listing on ebay
Not sell and then order from Amazon and have it delivered too you.
See the link that tells you about it
Not sure ebay would take any action over it though even if you reportted it
You have feedback to leave

No, it's not allowed on eBay.
One important point - if you have to return the item you MUST return it to the seller, not to Amazon.
The seller won't like this, but your contract was with the eBay seller. All eBay buyer protection requires items to be returned to the seller's registered address.
Incidentally, if the seller is not registered as a business seller, and does not accept returns, they're breaking the law. Buying to resell is a business activity. On eBay, private sellers are limited to selling their own, unwanted possessions - not drop shipping from Amazon.
Just to add that some EBay Business Sellers also Sell on Amazon and hold their Stock at the Amazon Fulfilment Centre which is totally legitimate. But yes as said by @redwick1 Drop Shipping is not allowed.
