Good morning people,
just got this email from Ebay :
Activity on your account isn’t following policy: Abusive buyer policy
Activity on your account didn't follow our Abusive buyer policy. Buyers may not misuse feedback, returns, buyer protection programmes, or payment dispute processes.
What activity didn't follow the policy
- Buyer’s can’t misuse eBay’s return process. The following actions are not allowed:
- Returning an item other than the original item received
- Using or damaging an item and then returning it
- Making false claims, such as:
- Returning an item with the reason that it wasn’t as described when it was described accurately
- Saying an item wasn’t received when it was delivered.
I haven't done any of these and can't replay to this. I think is a scam, but can't contact
Ebay to report, no email address provided.
Any suggestions please?
Best regards, B.
If it only came as an email you may be correct that it's a scam. If it conveniently includes a link to click on to resolve the problem, it will certainly be.
If you also received a copy through eBay's own messaging system it should be genuine. If so, none of us knows why you might have received this. If you can't work out what it was for, you can only contact eBay, see: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/account/contacting-ebay-customer-service/contact-ebay?id=4379&st=3&pos=2...
