Account restrictions due to link to another account

I received an email this morning telling me my account has been restricted because its linked to another another account. That account belonges to my ex friend with whom I don't have any contact since May 2020.
I did contact ebay but didn't get any resolution. I'm really upset and need help what to do.
I had over 700 items listed now it is down to 300.
Please advise how can I resolve this without contacting my ex friend?

You will have to get your ex friend to sort their account out, or yours won't get unrestricted.

Thank you. So there is no another way? ! I'll have to wait as I really do not want to contact my ex friend
