Account downgrading because of non existant defects.

I was recently penalised for alleged late delivery due to tracking information evidence, even though the customer has not received the item late and has made no complaint. Having checked the Hermes tracking information, it says that even though the item was shown sold on the ebay system on the 22nd (in time) it was last scanned on the Hermes system on the 20th??!! Clearly an error somewhere in the sytem led to the late delivery incorrectly being flagged.

 

I have been selling with ebay for best part of 20 years, both privately and as a business and have never dispatched late and always privately had a 100% feedback rate. I asked for the defect to be removed, quoting all the evidence, but within an hour of my appeal, I was told that to remove this would not truly relect what had happened??!! And that I have no further recourse to getting this removed.

 

It sickens me that ebay hit the small privateers with a stick even when they have clearly abided by the rules. is there anything else I can do to get this removed, without cancelling my account and moving to another platform?
