Accepted Ebay 80% Off Fees Offer- No sales since - Does this offer feel like a trap?

I accepted the 80% off my fees promo offer from Ebay- as soon as I accepted it no sales (I usually sale 2 items/day). I observed this several times- these offer are like death spell on my ebay account

The one I accepted 23 July  (Friday) ends on Monday the 26th ,midnight. I had zero sales or questios this weekend after accepting this offer. I feel as if this offer means ' we made your shop invissible' . Anyone else with the same impression?
