AIC texts

Hi I keep getting text from AIC saying I owe eBay money and click on link. I haven't purchased anything how do I know if this dodgy

You only owe ebay money if you sell not when you buy

All messages from ebay come through the Messages on your my ebay page and call you by name

If it is a phissing email then forward to spoof@ebay.co.uk

 delete it

Have you listed or sold anything on Ebay?

It may be free to list on Ebay but it is not free to sell.

Go to your home My Ebay page and look under the account tab to see if you owe Ebay any fees.

Also hover over My Ebay at the top of the page and look under Purchase History to make sure you have not purchased anything and not paid for it.   

Check your account details just to make sure your account has not been compromised.

IF you cannot find any clue as to why you are getting texts to say you owe Ebay Money then i would say that it may be a phishing text.    Block the number.....and do NOT click on any links in the email.

If you want to be 100% sure you do not owe Ebay anything then contact Ebay Customer Support by going to the bottom of this page and select the contact us option.
