A seller not responding to me

Hi, I'm having trouble, an item I brought has broken, I've tried contacting the seller who won't respond & eBay have said as it's more than 30days they can't help either, nor will the manufacturer as I have contacted them as well... any ideas? It's an electric scooter

Was it Brand New and bought from a Business Seller? If so consult Citizens Advice.

If Secondhand and a private seller nothing you can do.

Ebay's Money Back Guarantee is only for 30 days and is for condition on ARRIVAL, not any damage incurred after you have received it, whether within 30 days or not. Ebay does not get involved in Warranties.

If the item was not fit for purpose if you paid using Paypal you can try them if it's still within 180 days of payment.    First sign up to get the return postage paid:

Then open a "not as described" case here:

https://www.paypal.com/uk/disputes/

And escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days.

If you used your credit card ring your card company and they should be able to help.
