Hello!
I sent a brand new dress to a client a month ago. She recived it on 7.06. I have 14 days retun policy.
Yesterday I received the dress back. Returns never bother me but this time the dress
was visibly worn, with dirty nechline inside, torn on the armpit area, few scraches on the front neckline and on the back, near the zipper. This has never happened to me before. It is impossible to resell this dress because it should be washed and it has scratches. It is not new. The condition is worn with defects. And it is not a cheap dress. I invested in that dress. I cannot contact eBay today, I will try tomorrow. What should I do. I am really shocked. I checked some topics and I have the feeling I will loose my money. Please help me with some advice.
Ebay won't be interested, but they will be interested inthe fact you are trading illegally as unregistered business.

Good luck! Start by readng eBay's condition of returned items policy: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/member-behaviour-policies/condition-returned-items-policy?id=47...
Don't build up any hopes. In reality, don't be surprised if eBay simply tells you to refund the buyer. Other sellers in the same situation have told us that eBay's attitude was that as they didn't see the item the seller that the seller delivered, or the item the buyer returned, "they are not in a position to take sides and verify who has the valid complaint". EBay's idea of not taking sides is to find in the buyer's favour, and require the seller to refund them!
Ditto, you can appeal eBay's decision here, but expect to lose and you probably won't be disappointed: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/appeal-ebays-decision-return-missing-it...
The user agreement requires users to accept eBay's decisions on all disputes. EBay is unregulated, so there is no right to any independent appeal.
