60 Day return period

Hi,

I ordered some things just under 60 days ago from a seller on eBay.

Under their Returns policy section, it said that I could return the items within 60 days for a full refund.

I've contacted the seller to ask them to authorise a return, and they say that they only accept returns requested within 14 days of sale. According to them, the 60 day period means that buyers have 60 days to return the items from when a return is authorised.

I've opened an eBay case and they just say that I'm not covered under the Money Back Guarantee because the transaction is more than 30 days ago. I'm not sure what option to choose when disputing the transaction on PayPal.

I'm only trying to return the items. I've been very clear that I'm happy to pay return postage, and that everything is in the same condition that it was sold to me as.

What should I do next?

Thanks.
