3 year warranty!!

Hi just wondering if anyone has any advice! I purchased a leisure battery for £80 that had a 3 year warranty with it, when it arrived it did have a small leak from the terminal and after contacting the seller they said it would be fine to use and to remove the bungs before charging. We did all this and obviously due to lockdown we only used it once and haven't used the camper since,  the same terminal is still leaking and eroding. I've contacted the seller but they have tried saying we have dropped it! (All photos they asked for show no other damage) now saying we have used it in error as they have looked back at the previous messages from when it arrived leaking...basically trying to get out of honouring the 3 year warranty...we will of had it a year on the 3rd August. Any help or advice as to where we go from here for a refund would be very greatful 🙏 xx

Ebay don't get involved with warranties.
