Got an a aulternator from a business seller with 12 months warranty stopped working after 7 months and will not answer my emails got eBay to help and the seller will not reply to eBay aswell and eBay say that there is nothing they can do because it's out of eBay 30 day warranty ? so seller's warranty means nothing do not bay from
There is no way to enforce a warranty on eBay. It's between you and the seller. If you are handy with such things it may be a simple fix as to replace brushes.
Unfortunately these 'Warranties ' are only as good as your ability to enforce them. Which in reality is hardly ever. We do get a lot of Buyer Complaints about Warranties.
... and much as you may feel agreived it is against eBay rules to mention a seller ID. Please edit it out
For an item received faulty you have/had 30 days past the delivery date to open an ‘I received an item that does not match the seller’s description’ case in the Resolution Centre.

Neither eBay nor PayPal gets involved in warranty issues beyond the MBG.

The PayPal MBG lasts for 180 days (about 6 months) but again is not a warranty.

If you are too late for eBay or PayPal to support you your contract is with the seller directly. If the seller is U.K. based and a business seller Trading Standards may help you.
If you paid by card your card issuer may also help you.
If the seller is a private individual, no warranty is implied.
