Hi tried to put an item in ebay and I was told I've reached my limit of 0 and 0. I might have sold something years ago possibly on this account or another. But how do I list an item as it won't let me

Suggest that as your selling account has been unused for more than a year, it has probably has been blocked by eBay for security reasons ... try this >  Using a PC/Laptop > Goto >

Suggest you go to Help&Contact and enter Subject "START SELLING".

There have been many changes over the years and lots in the last 12 months so selling on an old account will require a lot of changes.
