hi , just new to all this , and was wondering how i could get a value on 2 items i am trying to sell. I just want to see how much there valued before i try and sell them on e-bay. One is a ticket to the 1968 European cup final in Wembleya nd the other is a match programme from the 1970 world cup final. Thanks for your time

Rebel, just google it, go to www.google.com and type in the exact name as it apears on the ticket. IT will probablay bring up a bunch of dealers and some other listings on ebay which should give you an idea of what they are worth. There are apraisal houses out there but for something like that it may cost more than they're worth.
Good luck!

I'd have to disagree with steam-agc. If the Irish eBay site had what www.google.ie has, the option to have the page in Irish or English, it wouldn't be alienating anybody at all. I never studied Irish (I was born in the US but now live in Dublin) though my wife did and I don't see how you could equate the Irish language with Rangers and Celtic jerseys or territorial flags. If everyone had the choice to read the site in either language, just like most government documents or road signs, then nobody is being marginalised.

Thankyou, good to be here.
Unfortunately my expertise in using this machine is negligible, but I try. It's nice to find an Irish connection - watching some of these 'pop up' American Ads is driving me crazy. I will look into this site regularly (if I can manage to find it again!)

**Welcome to the eBay Ireland Board**

Hi

I have just joined here - first of all how do I post a new topic - say "Listing in Euros or Sterling?"

I live in Ireland - but I wish to be open to the UK market by selling in Sterling - so I list on Ebay UK (also they have the odd free listing day which Ebay Ireland does not have)

I have listed books in sterling but have put the postage in Euros - which is daft.

I have noticed a few Irish sellers listing in sterling and putting down postage in sterling too.

So what advice /experience can you offer? Would be glad to know

Many Thanks

Tony

Forgive me if you get the same messages off me - my computer is reall y playing tricks - I have no notification that my messages haver gone through.

By the way has anyone tried alternatives to Eircom Broadband?

I have tried modem booster which i think is quite good for the price -25$ a year!!

Also any ideas on IrishBroadband.com - the wireless system - same price as Eircom Broadband....still wondering how I can put up the topic for the discussion board

This seems a daft board/system - you send something in - you are busy like everyone else and nothing happens - you want a small bit of help - and nothing happens!?

I am pasting in my posting in my last post and that of the one coming after me... here it is
