OK, so these at ebay towers have demolished the door to our dungeon, we've been up all night tunnelling in again, and here's the new entrance!

Hopefully all the guards will soon find their way back in, and 'normal' service will be resumed as soon as possible.

The inmates seem to still be here, also the torture play room and all the usual toys. The young dragons were a bit peckish, so good job we got back in today - tomorrow may have seen them nibbling the inmates!

The hot chocolate wasn't very hot when I got back in, but is now fresh, and storecupboards and fridges full of the usual food.

Apologies to any innmates who have missed some meals, but bacon butties coming soon, to compensate for our 'technical' hitch. ___________________________________________________________________________

The Trolls have started weaving baskets ready for the eggs, they look very professional x

Can't wait for it to be warmer - it's been trying to snow here again today. I know dragons don't usually like it too hot, but I'm fed up of being this cold!!

The supplies of hot chocolate and hot drinks has been replenished, and am cooking baked potatoes at the moment - curried beans, cheese and numerous other fillings available.  

Hot pot with pickled red cabbage/beetroot and pastry topping also on offer.  

I may crack and do jam sponge pud with custard as well!

Yep, so cold it has been over my side of the cell too, some snow flakes, but at least it didn't stay long.:-D

Mm, Hot pot smells lovely, and so will the Jam Sponge with Custard.:-x

Being served up at present....Choice of steak with mushrooms, veg and chips etc, or mushroom pasta bake, savoury sauce.

pud is apple crumble and custard.

Am looking through Mary Berry's 'At Home' cookery book, (new buy, so you will find some new recipes on the menu.)

Mr Dragon has chosen a fish bake tonight - smoked haddock, flaked, potato pieces (on top),spinach and hard boiled egg underneath, creme fraiche and chedddar for cheese sauce etc etc.  Will have to see!  I always find Mary Berry's recipes well written and totally reliable - I've been a fan of hers for a great many years, long before she became a tv cook!

Other main course tonight is Red pepper, mushroom and leek lasagne.

Pud to be decided. It's arctic temperature here at present and flurries of snow going past windows, so may have to be hot cross bun pudding! (a spiced variation of bread and butter pud) 

Got to go to Post Office so am dressing for arctic expedition at the moment........please send search party with huskies and hot chocolate if I don't appear again soon.

Gulp. 😮 Has anyone got a husky?, just our Dragon went out over 7 hours ago, and not back yet. 😮

In the meantime I will look through the recipe book, as I like those, such great ideas, and it sounds a good one.:-D

Got a big SORRY to say today - Forgot Cazz's birthday yesterday.  I knew it was coming up, but when it arrived my brain was AWOL.  (Can I blame the cold spell?)

    

I hope you'll accept posh choccy cakes as an apology? (speaking to Cazz here, no need to ask if the rest of you will accept choccy cake!)

Also big birthday cake for all to share - the dragons are all pestering for cake!
