Well we would love to join in but there are no glues the page is blank.
So we look through the messages and discover all winning are gone, finished. Please can someone at e bay centre please tell us why we do not get the clues on the treasure hunt page, or how we can fix the problem.

Someone mentioned that as a possible treasure hunt clue earlier. *Please* tell me the bidders have mistaken this for a scam instead of the real thing...?

Hi all! I have a really big problem, I really, really, really want to take part in this treasure hunt but unfortunately for some stupid reason I cannot see the clues on the treasure hunt page. All the rest of the writing is displayed but the clue is nowhere to be found. Please, please can anybody help?

It's on virgin radio every morning this week i think. They have a competion to win some stuff and the it's sponsored by ebay Treasure hunt. naturally at this point sponsored plug the treasure and how it all works. Not seen anything on TV though, Yet.

My ebay story is of spending hours and hours of hunting using erudite solutions to clues that do not require anything other than a random guess.The clues are demented and I have spent a long time supressing the urge to throw my computer off the desk. However, I have been very amused to see sellers taking advantage of the clues, and quickly posting items with obvious links to the clue, and getting over a thousand hits on their page! Ha ha.

My brain hasn't has such a workout in years! Stay at home mum (refused to let someone else raise my son and ditched the Financial Controller role for something more worthwhile lol) of an under two needed something better than Cbeebies all day and Ebay came up with the perfect entertainment..thanks 🙂 I havent won yet, nor came close, but thats probably because Im anaccountant and have trouble thinking as laterally as Ebay!!!!!!!DOH!

This started off interesting.
Then I found I got closest using a simple search term like 'the'.
Then all the prizes started going within 15 seconds of being listed.
I then found that you can search for every new listing, and that most winners don't have a photo or camera icon.
Now the hourly prizes all boil down to who can press F5 the fastest and get the fastest refresh.
No need to even look at the clues.

My husband & I spent more time than I care to admit on the Hunt last night. Fun as it was, I wake up this morning to find out that there was very little point as there is a cheat to find the item. Surely the spirit of the Hunt is for us to use our brains, not be beaten by cheating. Can't Ebay take that facility off like the Germans & get back to the reason for the Hunt, which should be HAVING FUN!!!!!
