We'll rename the board a bit later in the week, and change the logo. When it's all done, we'll turn it all back into the Treasure Hunt Board.

according to rule number 7 you can have 5 of those a day

7. Each entrant (meaning each individual and not each eBay user registration) may make a maximum of 5 "buy" entries, 5 "sell" entries and 5 "no purchase" entries per day

On one hand in the how to qualify it states that you must buy or sell an item and if buying pay within 24 hours.

But also says that no purchase is necessary and 5 no purchase entries are allowed per day.

Could you clarify how this works please Henry.

Dont think i`ll qualify for the selling ones....its hard enough listing as it is with out having to work out when to start it so it finishes on the promo days lmao

I agree with you albino we are going to be doing some serious bumping of threads because everyone who will be entering the comp will be coming on here .. and new threads will pop up and our threads will get pushed off to another page ... hummmmmmmm must put together evil plan ... to keep threads bumped 🙂

but I have a feeling we were told a long time ago they may do some type of easter competition... *hummmmmm* and then this is the next we hear about it lolol 😉 fun fun fun ..

Got an email about this today. Came in here to get some info and advice from my genius fellow hunters and what do i find???? total confusion.!!!! Never mind..if we're confused and we're the competition board what chance does anyone else have??? lol!!

Oh my goodness. I have a weekend without access to the internet and so much happens. How did we live before computers? I'm sure I was only away a couple of days but it was time enough for confusion to break out.

Ok, I've got it sussed. The rules are pretty clear when you've had the magnifying glass out to read them all:

To enter without buying/selling you:
1. Go to the 'click here to enter' link
2. Where the bought/sold item number would go if I had done a transaction I insert 'NP:Haycornpiglet'
3. Click on 'sell entry'
4. Answer a question correctly
5. Cross fingers and hope question answered correctly and Elfie picks my entry out as a winner.

I can do this 5 times per day. If I exceed this amount I will be disqualified.

The question looks like it will be about ebay and categories etc to make us discover a bit more of the site. However, we've probably all done a bit of that when we had to explore the separate shops/autos areas etc over Xmas, so it shouldn't be too daunting. 😉

Answer to all your questions is simple too: A man wrote it all - say no more, interpret it how you like because he will be just as confused by himself as you are. Just play it the way you want to. 🙂

HENRY - Cany you please clarify something for me?

I have read through the rules and am listing now and each day by adjusting the number of days listed for the correct categories etc, and I understand all of that. What I would like to know and can't find in the rules is can I specify in the tile or the listing that the item(s) are eligible for the competition (for potential bidders)?

Am holding fire on the rest of my listings until I get an answer, but please make it as soon as poss as they need to fall within the correct time frame. Thanks!:-)

I am here to ask about "Top tips for sellers" to ensure you r listing qualifies try the following"

request immediate payment - well I can understand this will help the buyer satisfy the 24 hour clause, but how will this help the seller

It also mentions 1,3,5 and 7 day listings - but not 10 - why is this?

Anyway, there's a no purchase necessary route (see the terms and conditions page, rather than the FAQ). Not too sure how many entries you can do this way though
