i love these to keep my computers safe

avg    free

spypot search and destroy   free

and always click update when installed...

avg always running in the background, but run spybot every now and again

when installing either......click advanced/personal or something like that.......... then you can un-tick any other software they are sponsored by

just running my spybot atm.........which i do every couple of weeks.

No idea. :^O  My son in law does all that sort of thing for me but whatever it is it's free.  I'm sure I have AVG and one called Microsoft security essentials, I run a scan every now and then.

That's good to know Tara. Avast offered an extra plug in for Chrome but it slowed my 'puter down so I took it off again.

all of the above seem to be great for protecting your computers and tablets

im no expert by any stretch.........but when there are great programs out there for free.......dont pay:-x
