Thanks stan. I don't know how to do those moving thingies or I would wave back. I am sure you are all "nice, quiet" and "quirky" too. Hope so any way. I do enjoy a good laugh when OH is snoring his head off and I can't sleep. :^O

Hello maz, I'm the sensible, serious one that tries to keep a little decorum on here. It's a difficult job but someone has to do it.;\

captain - how did you know my son was called Jim. ESP?
Well lets see . Me - OH, 2 sons and 1 g. daughter. I don't have many pics of crook as he doesn't stay still long enough, but I think there is one of him jumping on the trampoline with my g. daughter so I'll see if I can find it. Number 1 son is ex RN and number 2 son "crooks "dad" is the head groundsman at our local stately home - Stansted House.
Cats have always been my pet of choice ( every life should have 9 cats) but sadly our last moggie "Pompey" ( we live in Portsmouth) died on easter sunday last year. 😞 Don't have any pets now.
As for me, I've always said the best thing I ever did was learn to read. I don't think I could survive without books. I like gardening, knitting, sewing, crochet, a bit of jewellery making etc. Always been a bit crafty. 😉 A trait I inherited from my mum.
I've also spent a lot of time tracing my family tree, and on my dads side I have gone back to 1700. Although, I can't find my granny for love nor money. I'ts like she didn't exist. ?:| Will start on mums side soon.
I retired nearly 3 years ago and my hubby retires next week. It's all he's talked about for months!!!!! BIG retirement holiday coming up in October. Been saving up for 4 years and can't wait.
Now, after all the wine and chocklit I have to go on a diet so I can fit into my holiday clothes. Well...........maybe just one more glass.

Here you go! 😄
This is how MDCC works (Monthly Daft Charity Coalition)
Once each month sellers aim to have fun whilst raising money for charities and good causes of their choice
MDCC runs for 7 days starting on the last Sunday of each month (excluding December) and sellers are invited to list up to 5 fun auctions to raise money for their favorite charity or good cause mention the charity you are sending the money to & include MDCC in the auction title so people can find your stuff. Easy! Most sellers do this as a normal auction & don't involve Mission Fish who take a cut. You just send the money collected to your charity at the end. If your buyers are regulars they will ask for your PP address so they can gift you the money to avoid PP fees.
You are welcome to copy any of the bumph of another MDCC auction to use on yours.
All are welcome to join in.
Any more questions please ask.
