I've just popped in to see what's happening.  I'm getting with knitting my green jumper.  I've done the back and front and have just started on a sleeve.  Mum got some wool today and she want's me to knit her a jumper with that.  She has volunteered to sew it up though.

sorry, but was in so much pain when the dressing was changed this morning that I couldn't argue when they pumped me full of pain killers and did an epidural. Brain not really in gear, and fingers not really under control, but at least I am pain free - no idea how long it will take for the epidural to wear off.

I had an odd day yesterday just bumbling about. It was my late husbands birthday. He would have been 75. Feeling brighter today & have taken the lounge curtains down for a wash! lol

Well, the epidural hasn't worn off yet, so I am still pain-free. The down side is that I am confined to bed.

it's not much better Stroppy, but we'll get there. I'm only able to walk about 15ft before it starts to hurt bad, but every day is a new day eh?

I've just read about your dressing...ooooh ouch! take no notice of my post on tonights tea thread, I've found out why you've had an epidural, oh I'm sorry, I hope you feel OK when it wears off.

Hopes that CB and Stroppy soon start to feel better.

I had a rotten night's sleep last night as my right hip was playing up and I just couldn't get comfortable.  I am certain that if I went to bed now, I'd sleep until morning.  Never mind as there are plenty more worse than me.

no Chris, you are just as important, I'm sorry you are having trouble sleeping, there's nothing worse. This damp weather doesn't help either does it?

I listen to the radio if I can't sleep,, I set it on the 1/2hr sleep button, and if I fall asleep it switches itself off!! perfect.

OH is snoring his head off here as I type...aww poor lad, he's so tired what with having to cook the lunch as well as go to work.
