It's going to cool down tomorrow.......to 27!  The hottest place today was Heathrow at just under 34, according to the weather news.

Just been to close up the greenhouse & it's quite cool out there. I have a cardi on.

We have had our tea outside sitting on the summerhouse patio.  

Hubby got a deep fat fryer to use for chips  outside when we have BBQ's ...so we had to try it out .....  chip s may be unhealthy   but ....ohhh they were delish 

Still very hot here tonight ..phew !

Here in the N E of Scotland it has rained for the pase 2 days, and I am cold - thinking of lighting the fire, can somebody send us some sunshine please?

No lulls, Towey, just lots of stressed customer made irritable by the heat & wondering why they can't have what they want yesterday, a few who haven't heard of deo stinking the reception area out & having to wear suits with jackets whilst dealing with aforementioned stroppy people

I can sympathise Gina.  I worked in insurance for 16 years and working with the Great British public is not the easiest job in the world.  I know tha I've nearly fallen over when someone has actually said thank you.  Unfortunately, people like that are a rarity.

We have a fan in the kid's room, one on the landing, one in the office and one to keep mamma cat and her litter cool.

Gina, when I worked for large supermarket we kept a can of air freshener behind CS desk for after we had those kind of customers. I had a co worker who was really discreet and usually had it spraying as they walked away.

There's a chap who goes to the same health club as me who smells to put it mildly at the best of times.  The staff at the health club get the air freshener out when he's gone.  I wouldn't care but he normally only uses the pool and the jacuzzi so you can tell how bad the smell is.

We had rain overnight here & it's a bit grey today. Still a pleasant temperature though. Not feeling 100% so having a lazy day today.

Tries very hard to hide in the smelly corner - I am all too aware that I am not as "fresh" as I would like to be, I can only shower every 3rd day when the dressing is changed. Also I am aware that a lot of the time "the hole" also pongs. I do spray with air and fabric freshener and hope that if that fragrances my clothes it will help to disguise the nasty niffs.

I open my fridge first thing in the morning and stand in front of it LOL, i would get in but the fridge bit is a bit too high up LOL.
