Whoops!

There was an almighty crash and bang from the kitchen this morning followed by several expletives.  OH in taking a bowl out of the cupboard for his porridge had managed to drop all the bowls on the floor.  I think 6 have broken.  Too many bits to count.  Sods law that the bowls I don't like are still intact.  All my lovely blue and white ones I had bought over the years from charity shops and antique fairs have gone!!  Nothing very valuable thank goodness.  Suppose it's an excuse to go and buy some more!

My mother had twin cousins always  known as Boy and Girlie...when they grew into adults they were addressed by nieces and nephews as Uncle Boy and Aunty Girlie...........they never knew their real names !

I like the new dishes.........I must admit since OH lost his sight we only use Tupperware ones unless we have a visitor  . As they have straight sides like the very old heavy pottery  (children`s ) ones the food isn`t pushed over the side by his fork or spoon.

Whoops!

That must be a sign of the times 10phizz  because my mum had some twin cousins and they were called the same, although in Yorkshire language that was Sonny and Gellie.  I don't know what their proper names were and I don't think I ever met them.?:|
