A post on another thread has just made me wonder if you could swap places just for one week with another FHG'er who would it be........
I think I would like to swap with ilovetopatch (Maggie).
A week living in her beautiful part of the world walking Damson a couple of times a day with the peace and serenity of the beach sounds wonderful, then back to hers to look through all her wonderful pieces of work in the hope that some of her talent may rub off on me while sipping a glass of wine. :-x
Not sure she could swap with me as don't think she'd like the constant bedlam of school runs/after hours clubs and teaching rugby with the littlies plus my job is sooooooooooooo boring :^O
Might have been different had I still got the pub though 😉

Everyone is out in the garden. It's lovely here. I could never live in the depths of the country. I like my conveniences close at hand. Frequent busses & plenty of shops close by for me.:-)

What a bus every 2 hours and a 6 mile walk to the shop not enough for you Maggie :^O
Really cold here and just starting to drizzle not that it seems to be bothering the lambs they're making a right racket all calling out for their mams, they all go off and play together then can't remember who belongs to who ...................stupid animals :^O

Okayyyyy Merc, I'd like to swap with you, as I like the idea of the wilds, BUT are you organised and will you leave my house in a better state than it is now? More to the point, will you be happy to have your house back in a worse state than when you left it?
(Sorry Merlin, you've been booted out - nothing against Glasgow, but I did have my heart set on the wilds. If Merc declines, I'll come back to you) :^O
There was a programme on the telly a couple of years ago, can't remember the name of it (something like Home from Home), but it was a sort of house swap for a holiday, families from different countries literally swapped houses for a couple of weeks . It was very interesting and funny

I would like to swap with everyone really, spend a day as each of you 😄
Mind you, sorry to say that I haven't got much to offer in the way of a fair swap really..........it might very well give you a vague idea is to why I'm totally nuts though 😐 😉

if you want peace and quiet with a bus every hour, then come and be me for a day Maggie! I is in N. Wales too:-x
I think I'd like to be kitten and I could make something really daft and call it art:^O, where is she? I miss her.......
Stan....we've got those daft lambs too:^O we passed a sheep today and it looked really weird, I said to OH "is it shawn?" and he said quick as a flash "I don't know it's name" hahahahaha oh he's too good for this place:^O

kiss *my*...you are welcome, but there is absolutely NOTHING here in the way of civilisation.
I'm not on mains water or sewage.
Always blerdy baltic ( & I'm used to it ! )
Over 1.5 acres of garden to keep under control, & 2 mad dogs that need walking UP the hills at least twice a day.
Now, are you sure....it's all yours ]:)
