Steak & kidney stew done in the pressure cooker. I have no potatoes so will make up for that with dumplings.:) Is it a stew without potatoes?

It's still stew Maggie as it was cooked on the hob. In t'oven for casserole and hot pot.

My son in law is going to drop me some Chinese off when he goes and gets theirs later. Hubby will have fried or scrambled egg on toast. We have some trifle but I might be too full to have any!!

Sleep day - sleeeeeeeeeeept on and off in 2 or 3 hour shifts since midnight. Bed and PJ changing in between. Chinese laundry now on, lol. Yesterday was my work day and my garden looks great. Oh food, energy drink and toast with maple syrup and a pot of tea. Also received a beautiful Mothers Day E Card from a friend 'Queen For A Day'. People are magic Thank you.

Oh I got the " queen for a day " card from a friend too ....along with a card from my son . Daughters card did not arrive even though it was posted Thursday ...expect it will come tomorrow .

Had usual roast chicken dinner down at our local but it was very busy ...full of people who dont usually eat there and probably wont eat there again until this time next year . It was fun though as other locals were in so we all had a good chat and a laugh ...

Creamed mushroom brushetta starter, diet coke gammon, roasties, yorkie, mash, swede, parsnips & carrots for main & chocolate cake with warm chocolate sauce and ice cream for pud cooked by my daughter for me and her mother in law. Was gorgeous and for mothers day she's taking us both round London for a touristy day followed by dinner in Bill Wymans restaurant Sticky Fingers in Kensington.
