What car are you driving/using at the moment.
I have just changed from a Ford Mondeo down to a lovely little Red KA. I got her in September, is an 04 plate and as of today has done 45,020 miles.
My lovely little girl is called Katie and I love her to bits.
Son was not too happy at the start....thought she was too "girly" but now he realises that if he wants to go anywhere (ie over to his dad's), then he has to be a passenger in a girly car LOL

I drive a Fiesta who is called Fi or Esta.

Peugeot 306 HDI, year 2000, has only done 43,000 miles had it since it was 3 years old, never named it though.

Citroen C4 grand picasso (automatic. diesel), - one of the very few vehicles we could find that would take the wheelchair in the back and still seat 5 people - not many have a back door that is high enough. It isn't ours - it is a motability leased vehicle, I extended the lease for an extra 2 years earlier this year. As well as the electric wheelchair hoist, it has a flip accelerator pedal, as I can only use a left foot accelerator. Colour silver. I rarely drive, but can if I choose to.
"him indoors" has a 6 year old red Chevrolet Matiz.
Neither vehicle has a name

A black Mercedes SLK AMG 3 litre with red leather upholstry. It's the best car ever and I love it to bits - 6 years old so the gorgeous F1 style bonnet.
I got it early in the summer as my old Merc was 19 years old and getting costly, OH suggested a nice little Toyota Yaris or similar but no, I decided I wanted something which was fun, and oh boy it is. Cheaper to run than the old 180 too.
It doesn't have a name, but I am heard to say, very softly, 'Hello my beauty' on occassions

Our Fiesta is an 07 reg and we've had it for 3 years. It's been brilliant apart from needing new tyres and brake lights this year. Nothing major though. The car is used every day and it's never let me down mechanically yet - fingers crossed.

A little red Nissan Micra here named Puff. We bought it the year I moved here. He is an automatic. and is still under 30,000 miles. I think he is about 17 years old. Will hate the day we have to get rid of him, he has been a great little car.

With cars I've had in the past, if it's been running well, it's been a she and if there's any problems, it's been a he. I wonder why.

I drive Doris who is an 07 plate Peugeot 307 HDI , Mr S has Boris who is a very aged Vauxhall Frontera.
We also have a couple of vans, road rally car , lotus cortina twin cam and of course Pheonix the little fiesta stage event rally car who is so named as she has risen from the ashes so many times and never really lets us down.
we often also have cars that stay from a couple of days to a couple of months so sometimes can have a very varied choice as to what I feel like driving dependent on the mood.
NO we are not loaded but Mr S and I both hold traders licenses and often go to the auctions for a mooch around and come home with a project .................. or 2 or 3.

1996 P plate old shape Suzuki Swift 996cc; sometimes sarcastically referred to as the "Blue Bullet" ( especially when faced with a steep hill! ) but more usually just called "the car".

K reg Toyota Lucida, jap import. 300,000 + Ks on the clock and engine sweet as a nut. Would have another tomorrow if they were still importing that model. It is called "the car" as opposed to my van, their van and the little lorry!.

I have a yellow Vauxhall Astra Sport wich is 18 years old (M reg).
It's called the Flying Banana or more uncomplimentary names
by my son.
I am today trying desperately to get it through its MOT which it's
failed on emissions. If it's too expensive I may have to say bye bye to it.
I'm dreading that, I love it and have had it since it was a year old.
It's got character and it drives amazingly, any ice/snow/atrocius weather
and it just drives like normal.
We've also got a Vauxhall Meriva which is 9 years old in a sort of
spearminty green colour.
