Went to our local garden centre for a cuppa, and looked at some garden perennials for sale. there were some Salvia plants buzzing with bees, but the large ones at £10 was a bit steep, smaller ones still attracting bees were £8 and smaller ones for about £5 were not really in flower.
We decided to buy a plant for £8, but what a surprise we had when we took it to the checkout!!
As a garden club member, I often receive offers and money off coupons. The plant we bought, when the £5 token was deducted and then a further percentage off for the current offer......
Cost a pricely 99p!!! :^O

It did feel great !! and even better, the salvia is a perennial and will flower year after year, as well as providing a few cuttings!!

I think I got a bit of a bargain today too. I bought a stone gargoyle and it was only 9.99. I'm sure that couldn't have been right though, I thought it would be twice that amount. He's so cute too.
