HONESTLY.....

It will not twishy cause me was thinking of putting them on the floor for the dog to lick clean as I uses them.

The dog won't want to lick them 'cos he will be full of turkey chewed off the bird he found on the work top........

Naw CG ! Me cooked when in the navy so like taking time and making something for Christmas a bit more extravagant than beans on toast.
Neither of us keen on turkey so maybe a bit of brisket or silverside but will wait and see what there is in the shop tomorrow.

I love brisket we have that for tea tomorrow, slow cooked, yum yum

Will be off to the butchers between Christmas and New Year ed for a nice bit of steak because I always make steak pie for New Years Day as it is a tradition with us. Love it because the steak just melts in your mouth.

Oh that sounds lovely, I have a large piece for tomorrow so I shall probably make a pie with any leftovers.

Nice one, RC 🙂
The sprouts will be fine - in fact, you can leave them till 1st Dec them microwave then on the highest setting for 48 hours to give them a head start then boil them as usual till the big day 🙂
Does anybody, apart from my OH, actually like the little green abominations?

I like sprouts..........................cooked properly so the have a bite to them. Very nice with some crispy bacon too.

Sprouts are delicious!
Cooked in the frying pan in a little butter and oil, a blob of Dijon mustard on each one and a generous sprinkle of mixed herbs du Provence. Cooked gently until browned......................
