Things you can only buy at Christmas

In the shops at this time of year there are goods/products available that you can't buy at other times.

There's always lots of goodies, new liqueurs, special edition drinks, chocolates, cakes, savouries, all sorts and not just edibles.

I just love it when the brandy cream makes an appearance  in my opinion it goes with most things 

Do you have a favourite?

Yes ...my favourite is white stilton with ginger......can never seem to find it other than near Xmas.

You can sometimes buy it at Waitrose during the year but we do not live near a Waitrose now.

The local shops have Wensleydale with ginger and Stilton with Mango and Ginger ...but they are not as good.......

Those big drums of Twiglets (other savoury snacks are available)....

but they're not the same as when I was little.....Took a day to lick all the flavouring off one in those days..*sigh*

Bags of lebkuchen from Aldi .. jsut the plain iced ones. Had a Polish deli very close to my house and used to get it from them, but it closed down and I was lebkuchen=less till Aldi appeared!

Well i do like Choklit and they have more varieties on offer like the Creme fruit Quality Street and Toffees and Fudge ones. And then you have Cocktail flavour ones which i actually saw in P*****AND and lots of other different ones. They are not too bad in there!!!. And another big favourite of mune are the cakes like Cadbury Snow cakes, Flake Cakes and the variety Box of Cadbury cakes yummy yummy yummy. i do love Mince Pies although you can get these sometimes all year in some shops!!!!!!!!!!!!!,.

White stilton and ginger sounds good millieliac, I've never heard of it but am going to try some if I see it.

Loves twiglets too Twishy and quite a healthy choice of savoury snack.

I have to admit to having to google lebkuchen wskneil and that looks lush too!

But I don't expect to see easter eggs until January Cookie 

Yes and all those goodies Rose............................no wonder I'm always heavier on the 1st of January than I was on the 1st of December

there are so many chocklit things in the stores at the moment, it's ridiculous the choice. No doubt Twishy will disagree with me hahahaha
