I had a couple of duck breasts, Jersey royals, cauliflower and corn on the cob. He had tuna and cheese and egg and all the other bits in salad. We both had trifle.

I had lunch out with my friend, had an aberdeen angus burger, about 7 chips (??!!) and two salad leaves, a £1.60 glass of apple juice, all for £8.95....gawd it's a dear do eating out isn't it?
OH thought he'd bought a cooked chicken, but he'd picked up a bacon ham bone thingy hahahaha!!! so he had that with mash.

In reply to mouse its an old welsh recipe that is usually called ponch mipe but over time has somehow been amended to punchmipe as the English variant which is really just mashed poatao , turnip and swede (some people add a litle carrot)
Good dose of butter and dash of cream to bring it together as long as you're not on a diet otherwise just a good twist of pepper and elbow grease for mashing it all up also reall nice fried in little patties the next day

Woop WOOP,,, its nearly my holiday too,,got the week off next week and im doing nothing but relaxing!!!
I had Cheese and Onion Quiche with New Potatoes and Carrots.
