Using last night's left over roast chicken to make a chicken and vegetable pie for me and the boy.....unfortunately with shop purchased pastry and not home made....I don't make good pastry.....hands not cold enough 🙂

I made a pasta bake, with philadelphia cream cheese, chopped cooked ham, and a teaspoon of wholegrain mustard, topped with normal cheese melted on the top, and it was delish!

Definitely off to Stan's.  Only thing is that I've already had my tea but I couldn't definitely make room for what Stan's having.  Sounds delish.:-p

Chicken breast cooking in gravy, roasted potato and sweet potato, mixed veg and yourkshies and, undoubtedly, complaints.  Son does not like my roasts!!. Maybe I should produce 3 different joints, roast and boiled and mash, choice of 6 veg, stuffing, yorkshires and gravy and charge £6.95 for it like Uni does - mind you they do a good one.

We had a strange mixture tonight.  He wanted fried eggs on toast and I already had a couple of spare ribs cooking for me, but, we didn't have any bread so I gave him the fried duck eggs and savoury vegetable rice.  I had some pie left from tea yesterday so I had that, the ribs and some of the rice.  I'd made him a rhubarb cobbler but I'm not keen on rhubarb so I had a couple of satsumas.
