Wednesday's dinner/supper/tea thread

I felt like pasta tonight so made a pasta tuna bake. Added some cauliflower to it this time, I usually use broccoli in it. Also going to have some sliced tomatoes and I think Brian will finish off that cake I made yesterday.

Spaghetti and meatballs in spicy tomato sauce for us ....................only cos I had some already made in the freezer and surely not even Mr S can get spaghetti wrong :^O

chicken kiev, crinkly chips and beans....I could have eaten the plate too!!!:^O

We had roast chicken breasts wrapped in bacon, mini sausages, roast potatoes and peas


with blackcurrant ice cream for afters.

& I baked date & walnut rock cakes for afters, & supper, & elevenses tomorrow, & maybe even lunch ]:)   I is a greedy pig.

yes cookie, I have to check they are 10gms of sugar or less in them. Sometimes I go as high as 13 but to be honest I don't eat many of them as I consider sucking food a complete waste of calories:^O nothing like a good crunch I say:-)

one of my diabetic residents daughter bought her some yoghurts the other day at 26 grames of sugar each.and she got huffy when i queried whether she ought to let her mother have them.?:|

Oh didn't think of sugar in the yoghurts. Hmmmmm I will have to check mine. I buy goat yoghurt as I seem to be able to digest it better and then I add my own bits to it. I add a bit of honey and bananas and have it with wheatabix. YUM And it has the crunch too CB. 🙂
