Got a joint of beef simmering away in the slow cooker on a bed of root vegetables - then also having Jersey new potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, beans and cabbage. At the end I will put the beef into the oven (with the Yorkshire pudding) to brown off.

Roast chicken salad, 'cos someone on here gave me the taste for it yesterday! Also to make it up to my body for the two days of sin! Not really salad weather so I won't be popular!

I think I might have an omelette similar to last night with ham and cheese with salad on the side and a glass of red.  I hadn't made one in 13 years as the ex did not like eggs or cheese and oddly I never got around to making one for myself.  Now I eat what I like literally 🙂

Right, so what's the point of having chicken that looks like chicken and has the texture of chicken, but doesn't taste like chicken?  I suppose if you don't like the taste of chicken, you're on to a winner.;\

I can taste chicken.  I think that's because I don't add flavourings to everything and so can taste more delicate things.  I just like the original taste of the food.

What does half and half mean where you are, Stan? In Wales it's half rice and half chips (My Dad always orders his curries that way) :^O
