Well, first it was the display cabinet fiasco; then I've been in bed with a bout of food poisoning, then yesterday one of my goldfish went to fish heaven; he was a lovely fish, had him for 6 years and I could hand feed him. I know he was only a fish, but you can still get attached to them. Hope my luck changes abit now, 🙂

Oh dear.:-( Six years sounds pretty good for a fish. Not that I know anything about fish.:8} Hope things get better from now on.:-)

I remember having a fish ages ago that would come & stick its "nose" out of the water & nibble your finger :^O   I think I was more upset when it died than the boys were 😞

I'm dreading my 3rd "happening" my dishwasher died two months ago & is still waiting for repair/replacement & on Sat we woke up to a lake in the kitchen & our fridge has died too :_|

Sorry to hear about your run of bad luck, especially the fish. It must have been quite trusting to allow you to hand feed it.

Ahh, sorry about your run of rotten luck Caroleyorkie, hope things get better for you now.

Of course your fish wasn't "only a fish", he was your fish and I can understand how sad you feel.  Every few days I go out and try to make sure all our fishes are ok.  I say try because they won't keep still!
