?????? I forgot about them! I've only got one address for you haven't I? I wonder what's happened to them then? Even if the first class stamp wasn't enough, (but I'm sure it would be) they'd still deliver them and charge you, wouldn't they.
If you don't get them by early next week I'll send some more.
Perhaps the drug squad has got them? :^O

You did send to the new address CG?

I think so, I'll show you which one I used. Look out for an email in a minute.

Too cold here as well. I've had to de-ice the car for the last few days. Hope that the weather picks up soon 'cos there's plenty to do.

Well I've made a start. Got my spuds chitting and I've sown some beans and courgettes (indoors of course) to start them off
Had a recce at a local garden centre today as they have a 20% offer coming up in a few days. There is a nice cold frame which would fit over one of the raised beds that I have my eye on!

Have just put up the greenhouse bought for me by my wife
http://www.robertdyas.co.uk/P~149009~Walk-In-Greenhouse
and put in the cuttings I have tried to overwinter and some plantlets ready to be pricked out into seed trays to grow them on before planting into the garden!

Hubby said today that his peas are just coming through in his new raised beds he's been building over the winter.:-D

Finally sowed my broad beans the other day, and green peas, cos lettuce and onions and tomatos under cover today. Parsnips are late in - tomorrow hopefully.
My purple sprouting has taken a massive hit 😞 I spent hours defending it against the dreaded white butterflies but the weather has been as much a problem. It might come up with a few feeds if the weather picks up

I've been itching to get out in the garden and make a start. Last weekend I cleared dried up remnents from last "summer" and cut the hedge.
This weekend I was going to plant indoors some tomato, courgette and french bean seeds. I got as far as putting the soil in the pots and that was it.
I can recall seeing a documentary about planting by the moon and have just googled. The 11 April 2013 is a good day to plant fruiting vegs. So I'm waiting until Thursay. It may be a bit daft, but alot of these old ways were used for good reason. I can't do any worse than last year anyway 🙂
I'm having a new garden fence put up tomorrow, once that's done I plan to plant some flower seeds and summer bulbs or is it still to cold for that? I'm in Kent, it has been a bit warmer than it was, but still cold and sometimes frosty.

I've been given a whole bag of very out of date seed.... so I'm trying it on damp kitchen paper
to see if it will germinate before sowing it in pots. It's still very cold here so haven't set much off in the grrenhouse yet ( no heat)

we are forecast rain on Thursday so I may put some of my shrubs I've bought, in the ground tomorrow, I've been hardening them off for nearly a week, is that long enough?
they seem to have been growing a bit, they're only small, but they've got to go in sometime!!!
I may have bought too many, I just see plants and think "I can find somewhere for that" this is how I end up with so many tubs:^O

Our forecast was for an end to the cold weather and frosts now. Wet though.:-D

We've got all kinds of plants in flower at the moment. Both the front and back gardens are looking colourful and we are still waiting for the rest of the tulips and daffodils to flower.
