How sad.... his books are really laugh-out-loud. And the humanity of the man shines out of them. A real loss to the world, not just the world of books.

I've never read any of his books but I've seen a documentary about him when he first started with Alzheimer's. He came over as a really nice man.

i have had to turn tv and twitter off as they keep making my eyes wet
i love his books, i have read most of discworld twice, some books have been replaced as they fell apart
the thing that has always really ** bleepedme** is the use of 'Fantasy'
arent most books that arent real lives or non fiction . he should have been able to be notinated for the book awards
i love Soul Music for its references to real musicians, i love Sam Vimes .
i can say ive really loved most of the characters for different reasons

His Daughter Rhianna announced His passing on Twitter,
Terry must have left these for that moment, remember DEATH always speaks in capitals
1st/
AT LAST, SIR TERRY, WE MUST WALK TOGETHER
2nd/
Terry took DEATHS arm and followed Him through the Doors and onto the black Desert under the endless night
3rd/

I shed a few tears as well.
I was hoping someone would find a bit of cardboard with "I Aten't Dead" written on it 😞

Time for me to go now, I won't say goodbye.
Look for me in the rainbows, way up in the sky.
In the morning sunrise, when all the world is new.
Just look for me and love me, as you know I loved you.
Rest In Peace Terry.
