TUESDAY'S tea thread

Easy for me today.

Was going to have that home made roast chicken and veg pie for my tea last night and then jalfrezi tonight....however things changed and I had jalfrezi last night so tonight is the home made chicken pie with veg. I am a bit of a scatty girly type and often prone to changing my mind.

Just back from walking into the village and there was a veg stall outside the library so I purchased four jacket potatoes (they are all about the size of two fists each) for £1.50 for the four....very good value. Will cook in the microwave first as they will take about a day to cook in the oven LOL. That might be my tea tomorrow...but hey my mind may change about 20 times between now and then LOL

Blimey Tintin on the ball today, just started mine, Cottage pie again (I love it) only because it is soft, thought I would have cabbage and green beans with it but there is some mumbling in the ranks regarding the cabbage. Thought I would make rhubarb crumble with the last of the rhubarb from the garden, unless it decides to shoot out again.

I've never made or tried lasagne in my life!Woman Very Happy

We had chicken and mashed potatoes (dug from the garden yesterday) cabbage, cauli and mange tout and gravy.  He had yoghurt and I had a nectarine.

We've got stacks of rhubarb in the garden.  He likes it but I'm not keen.
