They had some lovely gifts but as usual the simplest were often the most played with. Amy had a puppet theatre to build & play with (Wilco £2) that was a great hit! Jamie just wanted to knit all day yesterday! lol

Hi all 🙂

So many posts to read 😮  I will have a catch up after my chinese that hubbys just gone for 😄 

Well my day wasn't what we planned, we were woken up by a phone call to say MIL had had a fall :_|
So we've been over there all day & just got home, she's been to A & E & had x rays .... thankfully there were no broken bones, just bad bruising which they say will get worse over the next few days, poor thing is really shaken up though 😞 ..... thats put paid to any plans we had of bringing her to stay for a few days, as she sleeps on the settee as she can't manage the stairs.

Sorry to hear about your MIL CK. We get a bit wobbly on our feet as we get older. I had a fall just before Xmas.

😮 sorry to hear about MIL's fall CK, hope she has settled ok after that, They tend to bruise so easily as it is when they are older, not a good way to start the new year 😞

I never thought about Arnica cream Towery, but she's 70 miles away & were back home now 😞 

Right my tea's arrived so I need to eat, we've not eaten since this morning .....  i'm starving.

Sorry to hear about the fall CK - I used Arnica cream on my knee and it really helped. It will get worse before it gets better though. I was OK until I knelt down to wash the kitchen floor - ooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwccchh!

Maggie i just heard  out 1st lot of  fireworks here

will  damson be ok?

CK can you ring the hom  and ask them if they have any
or if a family member is going tomorrow they could get some - hopefully shops  open tomorrow

There are a few going off here but not bangy ones as yet. The wind is in the right direction to take the noisy ones in Weymouth Bay away I hope.
