is that wood spelted beech? I  bought a lovely goblet made from spelted beech, the grain was astonishing, evidently it's a bug that gets in the wood!

We have had a bit of sun but I am about 19 miles away from the seaside.

those  huts make me think of  plasticine,  when its fresh out of a new packet

before it goes that muddy green/brown sludge colour

It's about A4 size. It's a block to go into a seaside wall hanging I am making in a Facebook group. We are given a subject each month & then design & make a block. I have done parasols & a sunshine as well.

I found a lovely frame in the charity shop for 50p & have added a little stitched picture.:)
