I may have to do some serious sewing shortly. Going to hubbys sons wedding in Spain in June.
As I have put on lots of flabby fat, mainly from waist down, I cannot find something nice to wear. Tried a summery dress on from per una this week. Top miles to big and tight across the hips (fat tum).
I bought about 5 metres of material when I thought I would have to make a mother of the bride outfit 4 years ago. Must go and find out where I have put it.

a friend had the same problem
she came, and she looked very different
i asked what she had done, as the transformation was very noticable
she laughed and told me
she had bought, quote "sook me in pants":^O
they looked HORRENDOUS, they certainly were not pulling pants, but they certainly did the job, and i dont know how or why, they didnt seem to disperse the *cough* "excess" anywhere else,
now they do look AWFUL but they were from JML

Mrs R, M&S have some lovely ones, in many different types. If you explain to a staff member what you want and what you are wearing, they will show you the most suitable ones. I got my wedding underwear from there, and the lady that helped me was great!
MrsR - there's always a danger it will squish it all southwards 😉 Fat knees is not a good look!!

Mrs R, I've just seen this lower down the page, if you have time to get to a store today, pick what you want and then come home and order it, it will save you a fair bit too
