I think in twishy's case, most of those apply, especially no.s 5, 7, 9, 10, and 13!

I think on Merc's list, number 1 definitely applies to me and I agree with the ones with men in are good as they obviously do cause more problems than enough.
It's blowing a gale here at the moment and the rain is bouncing down. Generally, it's not very nice weather at all.

Awww fanks twishy , will pay you in choccy later
Mr S was allowed home late Friday after heart surgery on Tues so is now fully charged with a new defib battery and leads, luckily my soggy kitchen had dried out by then and the dingle held it's banks the second time around so only a good brush out and clean needed and maybe some new kick boards .

Glad to hear mr. stan is recovering well. Does this mean you have to give him TLC? Oh well, never mind, you'll soon be back to normal.
It was a close thing with the flooding. Well, if you will live in these foreign countries it's what you can expect I suppose!
Good to see you back.

Good to see you back Stan. Hope Mr S heals quickly & that the op is a success. Lovely sunny day here today. Very blowy overnight though. Clearing up after a visit from the family today & getting the place back to normal.

Why is it that when my lot visit my home goes from calm to chaos in 30 seconds but takes at least 4 hours to restore it back.

Mine too. They have been here for six days! The place is upside down. I do love them being here though so I have no complaints.

Glad you're getting things sorted Stan and that Mr Stan is feeling better after his operation. Our garage is slightly flooded after all the heavy rain we've had but at least, it wasn't the bungalow. Weatherwise, it has calmed down a lot here now but there's a nip in the air.

Sending healing vibes to Mr stan

Mr S says ta very muchly for the get well wishes, think he's just glad to be home now but very sore after all the shocks the defib gave him as it really does pack a punch just like you see them jump when you watch it on casualty and the like except of course his is internal.
battery is supposed to last 5yrs and he wiped his out in 1 day

Stan I know how Mr Stan must feel or my mum does as she's had two lots of shock treatment last year. Mum's whole body ached for a while after. Hope that he feels better soon.
